What is Assertive Mentoring?
Assertive Mentoring is an approach that emphasizes clear communication and the setting of specific goals and expectations. The mentor provides guidance and support while also holding the mentee accountable for their progress and actions, using assertiveness to address any issues or challenges in a direct and constructive manner. This approach can help mentees to take ownership of their development, identify areas for growth, and take action to achieve their goals.
