ESG

ENVIRONMENTAL, SOCIAL AND CORPORATE GOVERNANCE CRITERIA

The environmental, social and corporate governance (ASG) criteria, or ESG in English, are a set of rules to follow when making business decisions, including both positive criteria on what type of assets and projects are valid to invest in them, due to its positive nature beyond financial criteria, as well as negative criteria on what type of assets and projects are not valid to invest in. We will rely on Principles to better align investors with the broader goals of society. Therefore, being consistent with our responsibilities, we will commit ourselves to the following premises:

Principle 1

Investment and processes: We will incorporate ESG issues into investment analyzes and decision-making processes.

Principle 2

Practices and Policies: We will be active owners and incorporate ESG issues into our ownership practices and policies.

Principle 3

Adequate disclosure. We will seek appropriate disclosure of ESG matters by the entities in which we invest.

Principle 4

Acceptance and implementation. We will promote the acceptance and implementation of the Principles in the investment industry.

Principle 5

Working together. We will work together to increase our effectiveness in applying the Principles.

Principle 6

Reports and progress. Each of us will issue reports on our activities and progress with respect to the application of the Principles.
