"WITHOUT FOLLOWERS THERE ARE NO LEADERS”
The only thing that can distinguish a leader is that he has followers
According to the type of influence of the leader on his team (from various authors):
- Transactional leadership: The team recognizes as a leader and as an authority. It provides the resources considered valid for the work team.
- Transformational or charismatic leadership: Capable of modifying the scale of values, attitudes and beliefs of collaborators. Its main actions are: it disagrees with what is established and wants to change it; he proposes new alternatives with the capacity to excite and persuade his team of collaborators; innovates to achieve change and takes personal risks.
- Authentic Leadership: Focuses on self-leadership, knows oneself well, balanced, and fair. You know that to lead others you must lead your own ideas.
- Professional leadership: It is based on your aptitude and attitude. Fitness depends on your knowledge of methods and procedures. The attitude is the appropriate behavior to implement those methods and procedures.
